I learned to read the Tarot at my mother's knee as a young child, and followed the family tradition by learning to read oracle cards, runes, tea leaves and coffee grounds, and perform Bibliomancy. In college I studied Astrology and usually include some Astrological Analysis in all of my spiritual readings. I am also a gifted palmistry reader and intuitive empath. A well respected reader, I have the ability to help my clients see their situations clearly and determine what the best course of action is (be it magical or practical) in order to get closer to their ultimate goals.
Raised Baptist, in a Southern family of mixed cultures, I grew up with what I refer to as elements of traditional, down-home style, Conjure, but it was not until taking up formal studies with miss cat yronwode through her course the Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course that my understanding of the tradition crystalized and my work as a spiritual practitioner manifested. I do a wide variety of ritual work for individuals looking to better their lives and improve their circumstances including: setting lights and candle magic, making preparations for clients' use at home, removing crossed conditions through spiritual bathing, preparing bottle spells, fixing and working with doll babies, crafting and consecrating magical jewelry and talismans, preparing hand made mojo hands, facilitating contact with ancestral and divine spirits, and altar work. I also teach the crafts of Conjure and Divination for those who benefit from hands on training and provide magical coaching. In May 2010 I taught a class on Love Conjure at the Missionary Independent Spiritual Church Annual Hoodoo Workshop in Forestville, CA. Clients who order lights set receive emailed candle reports telling them how their candles burned, those who order custom ritual work receive pictures and reports of the work I have done for them once it is completed.
I am a full time worker and proprietress of Milagro Roots, a small, in-house spiritual supply company providing all the different materials and preparations required for authentic Conjure work. As a student of philosophy, religion, folklore, and myth, I possess knowledge on a wide variety of subjects both popular and arcane, which often comes in handy to my clientèle. I am a graduate from miss catherine yronwode’s Hoodoo Rootwork Correspondence Course, a founding member of AIRR, a member of the Board of Bishops of Missionary Independent Spiritual Church, and a moderator on the Lucky Mojo Forums.
