Surah as-Saff (The Ranks)

This surah has 14 ayaat and it was revealed inMadinah. It is narrated that is a person recites this surah, as long as he remains alive, Prophet Isa (a.s.) seeks forgiveness from Allah (s.w.t.) for him and he will be from among the friends of Prophet Isa (a.s.) on the Day of Reckoning.
Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (a.s.) has said that the person who recites this surah will be placed in the group of angels and Prophets on the Day of Judgement. If this surah is continually recited during a dangerous journey, the reciter is protected until he reaches his destination.
