I am a spiritual worker based in Baltimore, Maryland. My practice is grounded in traditional forms and methods, and centered on the obi and dilloggun, the divinatory arts of the African and African-Diasporic Tradition, as well as spiritual attention to the energetic systems of the body, and conscious co-creating with Nature and Spirit. I am a Reiki Master, and have taught Reiki and other forms of energy work since 1999. I have been studying rootwork with miss cat yronwode since 2003, and completed an apprenticeship with her at Lucky Mojo in 2008.
I have been a reader of cards and a diviner of obi with coconuts and with cowries for over a decade. I am also well-versed in the arcane art of pyromancy or divination by the reading of flames and fire.
As a rootworker, my specialties include: the use of sacred fire for purification, customized candle work at my altars, the preparation of mojo bags, and the crafting of amulets and talismans in a variety of materials. I also design and carry out personalized rituals for individuals or groups to mark important spiritual conditions or life events.
I work with my clients to facilitate their connection with Spirit, and to help them articulate and manifest their goals. In the service of these aims on the individual level, I employ time-tested conjure methods such as spiritual baths and cleansings, preparing and setting candles, the prescription of spiritual baths, waters and teas, and the fixing of bottle spells, honey jar spells and spell boxes. I am adept at the crafting of talismans and amuletsand the making of mojo bags and gris-gris.
I use divination to design talismanic objects and meaningful rituals, and I create altars and meditative spaces to promote desired spiritual states and outcomes. For clients who wish private instruction, I offer consultations and rootwork advice.
In addition to working for individual clients, I also create large-scale works to facilitate contact with Spirit among the general public. These projects have included the creation of over-size ancestor altars, such as my Boveda and Day of the Dead installations for public viewing, and an ongoing series of presentations known as Drink Your Prayers / Drink Your Sins, in which visitors and guests are invited to write and dissolve petitions for blessings (Prayers) and/or for the removal of obstacles (Sins) in spiritual teas formulated from traditional botanicals for Love, Prosperity, Luck, Fear, Envy, Wrath -- and then to drink their words.
Currently, I offer readings and consultations for rootwork and conjure, by appointment only both in-person or by phone. Every client's situation and desired outcome is unique, and I begin cases by doing a reading with the client so that the work may be tailored to the specifics of the client’s case and goals.
I am able to offer consultation on matters of Spiritual Protection, Uncrossing, Road Opening, Spiritual Cleansing, and Personal Mastery. I do not currently accept cases for break-up, reconciliation, or cursing / jinxing types of work.
