Psalms 67

Hoodoo psychic readers, spirit workers and root doctors who recite Psalms on behalf of clients may work with Psalm 67 during altar work and prayers to break fevers and remove illnesses. This psalm is prayed over clients suffering from ill-health, fevers, and other maladies with the intent of asking for the intercession of the Lord to heal and restore. Psalm 67 is also prayed to help ensure the release of someone who has been imprisoned, or otherwise finds themselves bound. This is also known as the "menorah Psalm," because it has seven lines, like the seven uprights on a Jewish menorah or candelabra, and it is the custom to draw or letter the verses in the form of a menorah, which can be worn or carried on the person for protection. In the King James Bibl, it so happens that the initial letters form a palindrome -- "G-T-L-O-l-T-G"

Psalms 67

[1] God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
[2] That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
[3] Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
[4] O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
[5] Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee.
[6] Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.
[7] God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
